How did I get here
What inspires me

Ninglu Zhang was born in Sichuan, China, in 1996. She graduated with a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in the 3D design program from the University of Iowa in 2022. She is currently working as a 3D Designer at World Class Displays in Cedar Rapids,  IA. Ninglu found herself interested in furniture design when she had her first model-making class with lecturer Vakhtangi Darjania and continued her passion with Professor Monica Correia. Ninglu’s work often shows her affection for organic forms and the desire to use advanced technologies. Ninglu’s work has been exhibited in design exhibitions in Chicago, New York, and Milan.
